Description
The Jellied Eel is one of London's most unique bars. Located in a real gem of London's history, Manze's pie and mash shop in Walthamstow, the bar started as a pop-up and now serves inventive cocktails, gourmet croquetas and Mediterranean small plates every Friday and Saturday night.
The interior of the pie and mash shop is spectacularly preserved and Grade II listed. The Art Deco tiling and lampshades, mirrored walls and cosy booths make for an intoxicating atmosphere to try fantastic cocktails and freshly cooked food to share. Critics have raved about the combination of on trend cocktails and gourmet croquetas served up in a friendly and buzzing atmosphere.
The Jellied Eel is perfectly designed to hold a big special occasion, such as a lively birthday celebration. The venue also has a secret courtyard garden, ideal for when the clocks go forward and the warmer climes set in, offering a cool escape in the spring and summer months for an al fresco cocktail.

As we are only open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights, we can cater for private hire bookings any other night of the week. We are also open to conversations about venue hire for Friday and Saturday nights for suitable parties. Our unique venue is sure to impress, with its Grade II listed Art Deco interior and loads of original features. We can cater a party, or you can order off our normal menu, but we're also available to hire just for drinks. In the summer we also have a secret courtyard cocktail garden that seats 50+. |
