We Can Be Heroes presents Hot Fun in the Summertime!
On Sunday 14th July, We Can Be Heroes are back at Signature Brew
Blackhorse Road E17 for an afternoon of funk and disco from 1pm to
5pm
There will be live music from Dom Green's Funk Machine, the WCBH
DJs playing classic disco and funk on vinyl, face painting, free
comic books, drawing and colouring, burgers and beer, and more!
Plus every child gets a free pair of groovy glasses while supplies
last.
We Can Be Heroes is an all-ages, daytime disco and live gig for the
whole family. It’s for fans of comic books, superheroes, video
games, science fiction, fantasy and every aspect of geek culture,
past and present. It's a place where parents and kids can dress up,
dance, and generally get their geek on. It’s a whole afternoon of
awesome!
Whilst there isn’t a strict costume policy, everyone - grown-ups
and kids – is encouraged to come dressed up as their favourite
characters from comics, films, sci-fi, music or fantasy.
We run an event that strives to be both safe and inclusive. No
adults admitted unless accompanied by a child. Also, please note
that there will be live music at this event. Whilst we make every
effort to monitor the sound levels, you may want to consider ear
protection for children.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
