The Archduke

Description

Occupying a railway arch beneath Waterloo station, The Archduke is a chic and classy London wine bar and restaurant that has attracted a dignified clientele since its opening in 1979. Set across two floors, The Archduke is an exposed brick haven, with chic glass panelling at the front and back to bring light into this central London wine bar and restaurant. Located upon the much coveted Southbank, the Archduke is a popular choice for after work drinks with colleagues, a pre-theatre meal or to savour the views of the London Eye from their patio terrace.

As primarily a steak and grill restaurant with its own wine bar, The Archduke serves up a storm of chargrilled delights, with fresh meat locally sourced from their own butchers in Kingston - you can dine with peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that the meat you are eating is a cut above the rest. Guests can look forward to live music from Monday through to Thursday, and with a full sized grand piano as the centrepiece of the ground floor seating area, The Archduke is sure to keep you tapping your toes.
