The Bat and Ball cannot guarantee that there won’t be any changes to the venue, both inside and out. Where possible we will let you know in advance. However, the work may be unexpected such as in the event of urgent maintenance work The customer is responsible for any damage to the venue, including furniture, fixtures and equipment that is used. If the customer or anyone in their party causes these damages, they will be billed for the repair of these items. If the item is beyond repair, then they will be charged for the purchase of a replacement Management reserve the right to evict or refuse entry to any group if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate or are considered to be intoxicated. If this happens then the deposit or payment for any pre-orders will be forfeited We are strictly a non-smoking venue, including vape and operate a zero-tolerance drug policy. - Challenge 25 policy; from 7pm all guests must be over the age of 18, you must provide valid government approved ID for entry. Please note that we do not accept copies of ID. All patrons under the age of 18 will be informed that they will have to leave the venue at 7pm. - Dress Code Policy; In the interest of providing a great atmosphere for all of our guests, we operate a dress code policy from 6pm. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in refusal of entry OR being asked to leave the premises. In this instance, your deposit would be fore-fitted. Our policy is as follows: - Smart Casual (Hoddies and trainers are accepted) - No Sportswear (This includes; Tracksuit bottoms, sports shorts and gym wear) - No Hats (You may be asked to remove these or spin them around so the peak is at the back) - No Workwear (No; tradesmen wear, reinforced boots, work boots or shoes.)
