In the run up to World Whisky Day, London’s first dedicated dessert bar, Basement Sate, is joining forces with Scotch whisky brand, R&B Distillers for an indulgent evening of whisky and dessert tasting.
Yuzu, liquorice and lavender may be unexpected flavour companions to a glass of fine single malt but Basement Sate and R&B Distillers are keen to explore the playful flavour connections that can be forged between whisky and dessert. Basement Sate have concocted a duo of exquisite, bespoke desserts which will be paired with drams of R&B Distillers' single malt, While We Wait, and single grain, Borders. Noses and palates will be put to the test and members from both teams will be on hand to explain the pairings while co-founder of R&B, Alasdair Day, will initiate guests into the brand’s fascinating heritage.
Whether you are keen to impress a date with your whisky knowledge or looking for a more unusual way to end your next dinner party, the evening at Basement Sate will inspire seasoned whisky drinkers and newcomers to the spirit to creatively enjoy whisky this World Whisky Day!

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
