Salvation Jane

Description

Just a stones throw from Old Street station, Salvation Jane is a fantastic restaurant bar that brings a little bit of Australia to Shoreditch. The sister venue to Fitzrovia's Lantana Café, it can house up to 65 people in an intimate restaurant that's perfect for food any time of the day.

Taking its name from a beautiful flowering plant brought to Australia in the 1880's by English immigrant Jane Patterson, it eventually became an iconic and symbolic plant for the country. You can enjoy try their "Patterson's Curse" cocktail as the plant has also been known to be deadly so be warned that it is a very potent drink!

Open from breakfast to dinner most days of the week, enjoy their fine selection of cuisine from crispy chicken and bacon burger, coconut porridge with grilled pineapple and Asian shredded pork salad. All cooked to perfection, it's a rich and varied menu that promises some truly amazing delights. A great little spot, it's a true Australian gem in the the capital and one that deserves your attention.
