Join the McQueen team at our brand new concept; McQueen Talks!
We will be introducing a subject specialist every Monday to speak about their passions, challenges and generally filling your minds with some vital (and not so vital) information.
Our talks will be immersive and interactive so expect something a little different from the usual.
Hosted in our lounge the talks are casual and conversational - we are all about inclusive events and want you to leave with a brain full of knowledge and hopefully some new friends too!
We will have food and drinks menu designed for the talks on offer so feel free to make yourself comfortable, snack and drink whilst stimulating your brain.
How Psilocybin can open up our world, the science behind the theory.
There has been a recent explosion in research relating to a number of psychedelics. Psilocybin, the active component of magic mushrooms are indicated in a number of potential benefits to include the management of cluster headaches, alleviation of treatment-resistant depression, increased productivity and creativity. Kat Golia takes you through the background, neuroscience and cutting edge research into these possible benefits and how, if legalised it could open up a new world of consciousness.
Kat Golia is a yoga teacher, speaker and coach. She is currently undertaking a research project on the use of psilocybin microdosing as part of her Master's degree in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
