this time with extra Christmas Chaos!
Mamma Mia! We've put
together an 8 piece band to soundtrack everyone's favourite racing
game - whilst you have the chance to race on a huge screen!
We're sliding back down
the chimney to Juju's Bar & Stage to wrap up an amazing year with a
special festive Marioke celebration. Our band will be sleighing all
the best bits from Mario Kart through the years. Featuring classic
courses, newer tracks and the starman theme - they'll even speed up
for the final lap like Santa on a last minute gift rush.
We'll be choosing audience
members at random to dash, prance and drift against each other
throughout the night for the all important 'Marioke Christmas
Cup'!
We'll also have other
chances to game as well as DJs spinning epic gaming mashups and
Christmas bangers throughout the night.

Will my ticket guarantee me a race on the big screen? Your ticket will guarantee you entry to the venue to experience the band performances. To be in with a chance of racing on the big screen you'll need to turn up for race registration between 6.30pm-8pm. Our host will pull names at random and you'll need to make yourself known and get to the stage asap!
Is this event for serious gamers? Whilst we welcome a wide range of experienced Mario Kart players to Marioke, our events focus more on the atmosphere created by having an 8 piece band playing along to incredible music from our favourite game, with a smaller focus on the competitive side so please keep that in mind when joining us!
How will players be selected? Players will be
drawn at random by our host. To be eligible for the draw you'll
need to arrive for race registration between 7pm and 8pm. Every
round will have 3 players drawn at random (along with the winner
from the previous race) - we'll move quickly through this so please
stay aware, you'll have 10 seconds to make yourself known to us
before we move on to the next pick!
How will the races run? We'll run races
based on a 'winner stays on' format so we can get as many people
racing as possible. The final will consist of those with the best
winning streaks throughout the night.
What version of Mario Kart will you be using? We'll be using
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch
Any other specs I should know about? 150cc / normal
items / all characters allowed / no smart steering / no auto

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
