ABOUT DJ CHUX
Chux is a self-educated turntablist with a passion for music of all genres and all eras. He has had incredible success, whether playing in front of 15,000+ in a stadium or an intimate 150-400 person venue, he's delivered across the UK and abroad.
Chux has extensive experience touring with Barney Artist and has supported the likes of Hip-Hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff, Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Little Simz, Tom Misch and Loyle Carner. Chux has had the pleasure of rocking festivals such as Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Bestival, Fresh Island Fest, Boom Town, Boardmasters and more.
He has been gripped by Amapiano Music coming out of South Africa’s townships and after discovering the genre and culture at the start of 2021, he’s fully immersed himself in it. His video mix series Mapiano Mondays takes you on his journey from discovery and Chux is becoming one of the go to DJ’s in the UK for this fast growing genre.
