A jam-packed night consisting of some of the most exciting young DJs and hip-hop artists in the UK, led by British producer and DJ Jackson Homer. With a blend of live performances and DJs, this is ripe to be a really special night not to be missed! And on top of all that, it's completely free!
Jackson Homer:
Birmingham-based artist Jackson Homer was introduced to music at a very young age. Through his father being a DJ, Jackson was always surrounded by music whilst growing up. By the age of just 7, Jackson conveyed a curiosity for DJ'ing and began learning the fundamentals. Jackson soon became intrigued by the process of music production also and developed a strong passion for it.
Invoking the sounds of Disclosure, Daft Punk and Kaytranada, Jackson's passion and versatility shines through his music. His debut album ('99) undoubtedly exhibits his talent for music production. Each track differs from the last, yet ties together in a thoughtful composition. Jackson has now over 1.2 million streams on Spotify since his first release in March last year.
Saïna:
Saïna (pronounced Sa-ee-na) is a North West London-based singer/songwriter/producer. Working from her bedroom studio, she writes and collaborates with other musicians to carve out a style influenced by Neo-Soul, Rnb, Jazz & Hip Hop. Through the striking visual imagery and irony in her lyrics she explores themes of connection, vulnerability and renewal.
5amDiaries:
19-year-old 5amDiaries is the London underground rap scene's newest star. Hailing from South East London, he and regular associate Jack Homer previously connected to deliver his 5am's debut release Come Thru, which portrayed a mellow, bouncy beat cemented with playful bars.
5amDiaries music is composed of numerous harmonies and rhythms, It's not your stereotypically British-sounding rhythm, as you'll hear if you pay close attention to his beat selection and production. Instead, he opts for a sound that is more regal, which contrasts with his deeper tone and flows in the end.
ROZZZQWEEN:
London-based singer ROZZZQWEEN's uniqueness and authenticity are evident in every single one of her songs. Her raspy quirky yet incredibly powerful tone combined with sassy, clever lyrics makes her a stand out and definitely one to watch! scruz, a Bristol based quasi-viral producer, with various collabs between Headie One and Niko B, consistently attempts to compensate for the lack of intense, euphoric and smile-on-your-face feelings, in a world where popular music is more like corporate general anaesthesia.
A combination of upbeat, fast-paced garage drums, fat bass lines and juicy chords are the key ingredients to a trademark scruz set.
J.Ar.J:
J.Ar.J (pronounced jay-are-jay) is an in-demand Music Producer/DJ from London. Extremely versatile in his sounds, J.Ar.J works with many of the newest Artists (YIIGAA, Hyphen, Legzdina, DEJA, Lucy Tun etc) and also established artists (Jordan Stephens, MiC Lowry) helping to develop and create a unique soundscape that helps them stand out.
