Whisky lovers, here’s something that’ll excite you: celebrate the 4th of July with an American whiskey masterclass from our in-house whiskey expert and head bartender, Emily Chipperfield. After many years working in whisky and award-winning cocktail bars, featured in the Independent for her modern approach to whisky, you may recognise her name as she took on the task of sharing her knowledge via social media talking through a different whisky everyday.
The Grain Stories tasting series sees merging everything she’s learnt so far to make whisky accessible, fun whilst still educational whether you are a first-time drinker or an avid connoisseur. This event is for those who want to wrap their heads around how whisky can taste of cloves, leather, lavender fields on a warm summer night or simply want to dive deeper into both the fascinating history of whisky and the science of flavour.
The deliciousness doesn’t end there – you’ll be welcomed with a Makers 46 cocktail, tasting of six whiskies, some nibbles and if you wish, imbibe some more through the night as a special 4th of July whisky cocktail menu will be available. The masterclass will take place in the Jubjub, a tucked away secret bar above the infamous Callooh Callay.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
