Tequila enthusiasts rejoice! It’s time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an epic masterclass from one of London’s favourite bartenders; Nazareth Rodriguez in our secret Jubjub bar!
This masterclass will be a glorious mix of tastings and creating cocktails and we’re even putting on the food so you needn’t worry about eating beforehand!
Guests will be treated to the following:
- Welcome punch
- A brief history of tequila and mezcal
- Tasting different expressions of tequila and mezcal
- Learn how to create a balanced drink
- Create a classic margarita and a Tommy’s Margarita
- Sip on Mexico’s favourite drink, the Paloma
- Learn how to make some of your favourite tequila and mezcal cocktails at home using everyday kitchen equipment
- Sit & sip as Naz takes you through one of his iconic serves and how you can make it!
- Take part in our “Ready steady shake” competition!
Guests will be divided into groups of two where they are given a selection of boxes with basic ingredients (liquor, herbs, chilli, salt, lemon etc). You will have 5 mins to make a drink and the winner gets a bottle of tequila each.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
