Roni

With a successful UK Tour in April 2017bringing some of the UK’s top Country artists to support her at the live shows Roni promoted the release of her second album ‘Place Your Bets’. The single ‘Neverland’ from the album reached number 6 in the UK Hot Disc Country Charts in June/July and number 3 in the Irish Hot Disc Charts… Roni has made big impressions this year already…. “Place Your Bets is a fantastic listen from start to finish” (Belles and Gals)  This high profile in 2017 saw her be invited to perform at several big festivals…Buckle and Boots, The Outlaw Country Review and Little Mountain Country Festival. She has ended the year on a high with an invitation to perform a live set at the UK Country Music Awards Roni has also been interviewed on BBC Radio with an accompanying live performance of four of her songs from the new album with a full band.

Kerri

Kerri Watts’ Celtic roots are embedded in the streets of Glasgow where poets grow and strong hearts rule. Her current embracing of Americana is not fashion or vogue; this sound was fused when the then 16 year old Kerri ventured solo to California. She blazed a trail through prestigious venues from West Coast to East Coast across the US honing her craft in places such as Whisky a Go Go in L.A., The Basement in Nashville and NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall. Kerri fell in love with America and its music.

Kerri’s love of travel, nature and adventure didn’t stop in the USA. An adventitious meeting with a music executive in Ibiza saw her returning to the UK to record. Her incredible pure, emotive but powerful voice and pop sensibility soon found her play listed twice on BBC Radio 2, singles Long Way Home and The Wild. It wasn’t long before live sessions and numerous TV appearances were booked in with ITV, STV and the BBC, and people began to pay real attention to Kerri. Her music hinted at the wide open spaces of her American experiences, yet were carefully crafted pop tunes. Kerri’s collaboration with producer Oliver Nelson on the summer mix of You racked up over a million plays and achieved a number one on Hype Machine with rave reviews.

Jack and Ella

Jack + Ella is the collaboration of songwriting partners and performers Jack Galloway and Ella Stephen, who blend their take on modern country with an affinity for vocal harmonies, catchy pop hooks and their high energy, more rocky musical roots.

They self-released their debut single (and video) Hometown in April 2017 and it entered the iTunes UK country charts at #3. Hometown has been played on radio throughout the UK, including Chris Country. Their debut EP 'Ready' (released later that month) comprised of the earliest songs the duo wrote together. It was mixed in Nashville by Sean Spence, who has produced artists such as Jonathan Jackson, best known for playing 'Avery' in Nashville CMT.

Jack + Ella have spent a lot of 2017 gigging; playing at renowned venues such as The Bedford Live and The Half Moon, Putney, alongside featuring at several festivals this summer, including as one of Razorlight's support acts. The duo are currently recording their follow up EP, with the lead single scheduled for release in Feb 2018.

Sam Coe & The Long Shadows

Sam Coe & The Long Shadows are about to release they’re highly anticipated debut album "Full Moon”on 16th March 2018, which sees them firmly position themselves at the forefront of the UK Country Music scene. Produced by Kevin Duncan at Gingerdog Studios in Suffolk, this vibrant collection of honest, gutsy and heart wrenching songs ride on a wave of seventies retro country-pop. A sound that will appeal to fans of artists from Margo Price, to Kacey Musgraves via the Dixie Chicks.

Emma Swindells

Emma Swindells is a British Country Singer/ Songwriter from Wolverhampton.

Emma released her Self titled EP in May 2016; the CD enjoyed great success getting to number 3 on the UK Country ITunes chart. Tracks such as ‘Dancing on my own’ and ‘Flat line’ have received both National and International airplay.

2017 set out to be a great year with both of her sisters join her band; Clare Swindells singing backing vocals and playing the acoustic guitar and her Twin Sister on the drums. She has also welcomed Daniel Salter to her band as the lead guitarist.

Emma and her newly reformed band received great receptions over the festival season; including when they performed on the BCMA stage at the Buckle and Boots festival and when they played on the Main Stage at the Welshpool Country and Western Festival to name a few.

The band welcomed to open for American Young on their UK tour in July at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton.

Emma has just finished recording her next EP which is due for release early 2018.

To top off the year Emma was presented with the ‘Horizon Award’ at the British Country Music Awards in October.

Lars Pluto

Lars Pluto was born just outside Atlanta, Georgia to a family that was also a touring Southern Baptist Gospel Bluegrass group. They traveled the entirety of the southern highways of America and by age thirteen Lars had lived in just about every state south of the Mason Dixon Line.

"Music just was. It was everywhere when I was growing up...country, rock n roll, gospel...it's all mixed up in the air down there. Kentucky left me with a certain sound; Tennessee left me with another.  It gets in you in the South and you gotta get it out. You can't help it. Then we moved north to frozen Kalamazoo, Michigan. That's where I found rock and punk in the birthplace of the electric guitar."

A decade in New York City followed with Lars performing in several country and rockabilly bands before he moved to London. These days Lars can be found splitting his time between  his own country combo Lars Pluto and The Reavers, and performing  as Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash  in the West End and several national touring theatre productions.

The Adelaides

UK Country Pop trio The Adelaides, featuring Paris Georgia, Alicia Alba and Abi Phillips, are ready to make a great leap forward. 2017 has been a great year for the girls, not least as they signed a management deal with Simon Porter at Duroc Media, the home of Status Quo, and were taken on by Neil Warnock of United Talent Group, who is personally representing them. The band justified the growing interest in them by wowing a hardcore country audience when they played at the Country Music Fest show in October at The Borderline. On top of that, the band will close out 2017 as tour support for singer and TV star Megan McKenna’s December UK tour. 2018 can’t come fast enough for this talented trio!

A young band, in every sense, The Adelaides nonetheless hark back to the old time Country traditions of talent, truth and integrity. Just like the three little birds in the band’s logo, these girls just want to entertain: singin’ sweet songs of melodies pure and true.

The Adelaides are three incredible vocalists who pack a serious collective punch. Paris Georgia is a prolific and creative vocalist who has taken part in songwriting sessions in the home of Country, Nashville, and also performed at the city’s legendary Bluebird venue. An engaging and confident performer with scores of gigs under her belt, she has also sung solo at Wembley Arena at a charity event. The baby of the group, Alicia Alba has sung all her life and yet she came to The Adelaides from the world of Acting and Dance. Whilst she loved her drama school, the focus on musical theatre interested her less as her own tastes were rooted in soul and blues. Hooking up with The Adelaides allows her to indulge her love of music and performance, and she turned down appearing on ‘The Voice’ to concentrate on the group. Abi Phillips is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has been writing original material since her early teens. A well-known TV face, Abi originally won her Hollyoaks role by writing a song called ‘Missing You’ which was broadcast during one of her storylines. Having performed at well-known events including BBC Children in Need, Moonwalk at Hyde Park and T4 On The Beach, Abi has a wealth of live experience, which she plans to put to full use on her journey with The Adelaides.

A truly exciting live act, the girls’ blend of self-penned originals, leavened with a couple of well-chosen covers, is winning them new fans wherever they go. Now focusing even more closely on the writing side, The Adelaides have a set of great tracks in the bag – with the likes of ‘Reckless’, ‘No Survivors’, ‘What Your Heart Would Say’, ‘Jelly Baby’ and ‘Jack Daniels’ being thoroughly road-tested. Into the mix they often bring a track like Lady Gaga’s ‘Million Reasons’ or the Maren Morris song ‘My Church’, given a creative twist by The Adelaides. The band have been experimenting with various producers to find their sound including the likes of music legend, and Country fan, Francis Rossi.

Already having turned heads and been welcomed on stages and radio stations across the country The Adelaides are fired up and optimistic, and well they might be, ’Cause every little thing gonna be alright. Watch these girls fly!
