What they say:

Opened on Duke Street in early September, Burlock is the UK's largest rum house, serving more than 200 types. From the team behind Opium Chinatown and Jerusalem, the restaurant has a 1920s Havana vibe which will include an old barber shop and terrace to rent out. The bar has a selection of cocktails and serves bar snacks and small plates inspired by the Caribbean region; expect grasshoppers, Brazilian buns and Seabass Ceviche.

What we say:

With more than 200 types of rum, grasshoppers as snacks and a Cuban-themed speakeasy vibe, we are very excited about the opening of Burlock in Marylebone. The venture brings another side of the Caribbean to London and the 1920s theme focuses more on sophisticated drinks than beach-shack charm. The food, which is inspired by South and Central America, is a series of small sharing plates - expect moreish nibbles such as pork ribs. It's the latest venture from the Breakfast Group, the founders of other London favourites including Opium Chinatown and Jerusalem, so you know the restaurant is in good hands. Plus, and perhaps most of exciting of all, there is a continuous happy hour, now you have no excuses...
