A night of character & sketch comedy from two of London's hottest new acts in a brand new underground party venue at the heart of the city.
Deadbeat character comedian Brendan Murphy ("Brilliant and hilarious" - The Guardian) & alternative sketch duo EGG ("Comedy champions" - Three Weeks) come together for an evening of fast-paced surreal fun as they try out their brand new shows ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, all taking place in a stunning modernist take on a traditional Bavarian Bierkeller, right in the heart of Borough Market.
BEERS. COMEDY. BRATWURST. We've got it covered.
BRENDAN MURPHY: ENTER THE BAGMAN
A stupid, surreal, one-man Sesame Street – preposterous tales from a forgotten cloakroom. The sequel to Brendan Murphy's "incredibly engaging" (★★★★ The Skinny) 2015 debut, BAGMAN. The deadbeat character comedian returns with his "truly unique" (★★★★ ThreeWeeks), "absurd, bag-themed cabaret" (★★★★ EdFringeReview) directed by Hamish MacDougall - director of Joseph Morpurgo's award-winning 'Soothing Sounds For Baby' (2015) and Abandoman's 'Life + Rhymes' (2016).
