James, who is the Brugal 1888 ambassador will be hosting this tasting of this exceptionally crafted rum. Jame will be introducing a brief history on the creation of this masterpiece, how it's made and why it has received such amazing reviews and received the seal of approval from the AA Tasting Awards. You will also get to enjoy three full cocktails during the course of the masterclass, and it would be foolish not to have a Pina Colada, i mean its Pina Colda week in August afterall! We currently have lots of fun curating some bespoke cocktails for you all to try, and making sure the creations we make compliment Brugall 1888 the best!
For anyone who would like to hear a litte about the history of Brugal 1888 this is for you. The current female Maestra, Ronera is the 5th generational descendant of the orginal founder. She has poured a lifetime of learning and skills into carefully keeping the branding and the taste of this magnificent rum to a high standard and ensuring it keeps people wanting more. One of their unique aspects of how this rum is stored and matured is that it is held in ex bourborn and sherry oak casks, letting the rum mature in the warm sun. and making the perfect light, pure and full flavour rum
