SINEAD HARNETT

North London-born Sinead Harnett’s own brand of R&B on her new self-titled EP is filled with delicate melodies and underlying embellishments but anchored with a hard bodied soul that is mature beyond her 26 years.

Musically talented beyond her years, Sinead was still in college when she was called upon by the Godfather of Grime, Wiley, to record vocals for his single ‘Walk Away’ after a chance exchange on Twitter. This link up became the catalyst for something much bigger, as Sinead quickly picked up more high profile collaborations in the shape of Disclosure’s ‘Boiling’, Ryan Hemsworth’s ‘Small + Lost’, and three tracks on Rudimental’s debut album.

Across two EPs, a number of singles, and a few more high profile collaborations, Harnett’s artistic identity is fully realized.

Comprised of four tracks, Sinead Harnett’s eponymous EP alludes to her diverse range of influences, but with a clarity and self-assuredness in her own vision. This confidence in herself and resistance to stereotypes is a value that comes across in her forthcoming record, as she moulds the conventional sounds of contemporary R&B to her own design alongside forward-thinking producers Grades, JD Reid, Kaytranada and Snakehips for a sultry blend of soul and cutting edge electronic music.

Already with credits on three number 1 albums to her name, Harnett's created a body of work that not only feels true to herself, but speaks to anyone that’s felt like they’ve visited a dark place; offering hope through a record that pays homage to the music she listened to growing up and inspiring a vibe unlike anything heard in popular music today.

WITH VERY SPECIAL GUEST MULLALLY

His first 3 releases (Overdose, Troubled Love and Wonderful) have amassed over 6 million cumulative stream on just Spotify alone. These tracks have been championed by tastemakers across radio and online such as Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), BBC 1Xtra (Target), MTV, Hilly Dilly, The 405, SBTV and much more.

Further support has come from Mobo this summer as he has been announced as one of the Top 3 finalists of the Mobo Unsung Awards ’16. Mullally was also announced as The Best Solo Male at the Unsigned Music awards in October 2016.

It seems quite clear that pop-soul singer Mullally is set to create waves in the music scene. He began his musical venture from the age of just 16, where he played the guitar, wrote and recorded music as part of a band with his 3 best friends till the age of 18 before going solo. He also studied Artist Development at the prestigious Access to Music College, which is also the alma mater to stars including Rita Ora and Ivor Novello award-winning Ed Sheeran.

As a songwriter and performer, Mullally packs a soulful punch, utilising range of modern production techniques and to underpin his sing-along pop vocal arrangements that far belie his young years, painting vivid pictures in the minds of his listeners.

Since signing to the booking agent Coda late last year, Mullally has seen his stock rise on the live circuit thanks to headline shows, support slots and festival performances such as; a headline show at Soho House in LA, a tour support slot in Switzerland, main stage performance at Sundown Festival alongside Kano, Jess Glynne and many more. Plus further festival slots at Brownstock, Y Not, Reverb Festival, Latitude and several more this summer. He has also supported some of the UL most revered artists including Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit and Akala.

The young prodigy has been working hard in the studio already working with some of the most revered and successful producers within the UK music industry including Gordon Mills (Newton Faulkner and Ed Sheeran), Toby Scott (Pet Shop Boys, Gordon City, Girls Aloud, Little Mix), SOS Music (Ariana Grande, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande), Dan McDougall (Will Young, Matt Cardle, The Wanted) and many more.

Now 20, Mullally is geared with a lot more backbone and knows where he stands musically. With some special collabs in the pipes and visuals planned, this is an artist to keep tabs on.
