LAURA DOGGETT
With an understanding of the craft of song writing that belies her youth and an earnest honesty and depth to her lyrics that sets her apart from her contemporaries, Laura has already received acclaim as one to watch. Her signature unique, distinctive, rich voice allied to her soaring, sublime melodies are her trademark. Once you hear her voice, you will carry it with you forever.
Already having received great critical acclaim for her tracks “Phoenix” ‘Beautiful Undone” and “ Old Faces” and with new material ready to released before her debut album later this year, Laura’s star is in the ascendancy.
Nuala puts love and passion into her performances, capturing the messages behind her diverse range of songs; from gritty soul/rock belters and poppy sing-a-long tunes to softer blues and folk numbers. The lyrical content of her songs is of the upmost importance to her, ensuring that she stays away from cliches and that she writes from the heart. Accompanied only by her guitar, the highlight of each performance is her powerful voice, using dynamics and emotion to grab the attention of any audience.
