Summer is approaching, and so is the world’s very favourite cycling tournament - the one and only, Tour de France! just in time to kick it all off, we thought it be appropriate to celebrate the occasion with our own Humble tasting tour around France! Not only is it the time of year to delve into our French bottle collections, we thought we select a few from regions along the official route! (And because we are absolute wine geeks, the wines will be tasted in the order of the route, to boot!)

To get to know what makes these regions challenging for cycling, we’d recommend watching it on the TV... (even though we like to think of ourselves of quite knowledgable amateur cyclists) but what makes the places great for winemaking, is our forte! Summery wines for everybody, and a bunch of fun facts about each of their individual styles will be on offer. The perfect time to spruce up your wine knowledge in time for afternoons in the sun (or indoors watching the cycling, of course!). Get your yellow jersey at the ready…

Now we’d recommend going and snapping up a ticket whilst they’re still available!

Humble Grape
In centuries of drinking wine, one thing has never changed; you don’t drink a bottle of wine, you share it. Our wine events bridge the gap between the wine-drinker and the wine-maker. It’s a chance for our producers to shine, and for us to share the incredible stories that go into every bottle. No matter your wine knowledge, our tasting sessions are always fun and inclusive, packed with stories straight from the vineyard as we import our sustainable, organic, natural & biodynamic wines direct from the wine maker (no middle man!). We’ll teach you the basics of wine tasting, of different wine styles and varieties from around the world.
