London Fields latest edition to the drinking and dining scene, Wringer + Mangle, has created a truly unique supperclub series curated by food journalist Victoria Stewart. The series will kick off on Tuesday 19th April with food writer, cook and stylist Rosie Birkett. Each supperclub will feature a different flavour and culture that is present in and around East London whilst using British seasonal produce in the dishes.

The supperclub will run for eight weeks with chefs taking two consecutive weeks to showcase their distinctive flavours. Each chef will create a four-course menu and guests will also be treated to a complimentary Wringer + Mangle cocktail on arrival. Chefs taking residence include Rosie Birkett who will be also launching her new book ‘East London Food’ and will be signing copies on the evenings, Uyen Luu a leader in Vietnamese cooking and also Soli and Sanaz Zardosht, sisters known for their Persian influenced cuisine. Each week the chef in residence will address their guests and highlight the importance of East London and the local produce as well as their inspirations so not only feeding but educating in the process.

SOLI AND SANAZ ZARDOSHT are Persian sisters who live in Haggerston and London Fields. Chefs, caterers, and supper club hosts, together they run their Persian and British-inspired food business Zardosht, combining a hugely successful street food stall on Broadway Market and a four-year-long residency at Cafe OTO in Dalston, where regular sell-out dishes include orange chicken and kookoos. They regularly support local traders by using produce from Broadway Market, Turkish shops in Dalston and within Hackney. Neither sister has a traditional culinary school background - Sanaz has a business degree while Soli is also a menswear designer, and uses her design background to inform the colours and presentations at Zardosht.

Hi there, I loved this supper club and so glad Victoria told me about it. There are not enough people celebrating Persian food, and there is enough room for more to share this lovely part of the world that has so many wonderful to dishes to enjoy & both share. For those who want something much more thats the standard poor quality that are currently out there, this was well organised and executed and didn't feel like a supper club but an invitation to the most amazing dinner in a lovely setting. It was authentic and organic, loved every morsel, Thank you, can;t wait to reciprocate and invite you over. All the best, you really have a great future ahead of you.
