London Fields latest edition to the drinking and dining scene, Wringer + Mangle, has created a truly unique supperclub series curated by food journalist Victoria Stewart. The series will kick off on Tuesday 19th April with food writer, cook and stylist Rosie Birkett. Each supperclub will feature a different flavour and culture that is present in and around East London whilst using British seasonal produce in the dishes.

The supperclub will run for eight weeks with chefs taking two consecutive weeks to showcase their distinctive flavours. Each chef will create a four-course menu and guests will also be treated to a complimentary Wringer + Mangle cocktail on arrival. Chefs taking residence include Rosie Birkett who will be also launching her new book ‘East London Food’ and will be signing copies on the evenings, Uyen Luu a leader in Vietnamese cooking and also Soli and Sanaz Zardosht, sisters known for their Persian influenced cuisine and finally John Gregory-Smith a chef and food writer who specializes in Turkish cuisine. Each week the chef in residence will address their guests and highlight the importance of East London and the local produce as well as their inspirations so not only feeding but educating in the process. 

ROSIE BIRKETT is a food writer, cook and stylist based in Hackney. As well as having cooked her innovative British comfort food for pop-up events at Paradise by Way of Kensal Green, Jamie Oliver's Supper Club, Carousel London, J Sheekey and the Rosewood Hotel, she is the author of the acclaimed A Lot On Her Plate cookbook. Her new book, East London Food, documents the stories of the area’s food scene, and is published this April by local publisher Hoxton Mini Press. Rosie is also a major supporter of local producers.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

Fantastic evening all round - venue was gorgeous, great cocktails and beautiful flower arrangements to set the tone. The food was stellar - loved the eel (surprisingly!), the pie and wild garlic liquor was fab, but the cheesecake was outrageous as usual! Thanks for a fab night! A very enjoyable evening all round. The beetroot jelly was great with the perfectly cooked eel and the horseradish sauce set it off perfectly. The pie & mash was excellent. And vast. Puff top on suet pie base dodged carb overload and set off the unctuous beef filling. Our pie dish was scraped clean! Only reservation was the popcorn cheesecake. Not very local and a bit sweet/bland. Overall an excellent menu, good service and we wobbled off on our bikes stuffed and happy. David visited Wringer & Mangle on 18 Apr 2016
