If you’re single in Hackney, why limit yourself to fleeting encounters at The Dolphin fuelled by Jager-bombs and Warren G, when you can enjoy an evening of mini dates organised for you by The Hackney Dating Bureau?
All you have to do is turn up, sip on a cocktail (or local craft beer, obvs) and chat to around 14 potential lovers for 4 minutes a pop. Like speed dating. But good.
There’ll be some suggested questions to ask, just in case your mind goes blank when faced with someone fit. Like:
‘Ridley Road or Broadway Market – which is best for buying your Nan’s birthday pressie?’
‘Fave thing to do on a Sunday morning in Hackney?’
Or if it seems more appropriate,
‘Have you ever witnessed a Sunday morning in Hackney?’
You keep a note of which dates you’d be interested in seeing again IRL, and we’ll let you know of any ‘matches’ the next day along with their contact details.
The bar will open at 7pm, with the dates running from 8pm until around 9.30pm, with a short break in the middle. We'll keep the bar open afterwards for those that want to stick around.
Tickets £17 which includes a cocktail (or pint), and we’ll be selling an even number of girls and boys tickets.
Age range for this event is 30-somethings, but let us know if you’re outside of this bracket and we’ll message you once we’ve arranged an event for you.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
