Ooooh France and its fantastic, but yet so complicated wines! Who doesn't struggle to read French wine labels and understand the mysterious vocabulary.
Don't worry: we are here to help you!
This two-hour tasting masterclass at our wine studio in Netil House in Hackney is a deep-dive into the different French wine regions and grapes:
- You'll learn everything about the different types of French wines, the complicated labels and the most common grape varieties.
- Furthermore, we'll work on wine tasting techniques, explain you how wine is made and their will be some blind tasting games.
- During the wine masterclass you'll taste five different French wines: a Champagne, a Loire Sauvignon Blanc, a white blend from the Rhone Valley, a juicy Beaujolais and a warming Bordeaux red.
- There will be complimentary French snacks and water on the table.
The wine tasting masterclass takes place from 4pm to 6pm, at our studio at Netil House in London Fields (Hackney). Before the masterclass you can explore the area, such as Netil Market, Broadway Market, Victoria Park, Regent's Canal. If you'd like to stay in the area after the event, London Fields has plenty of fun bars and restaurants to offer.
