Founded in 1890, Spain's No1 beer is getting its own residency at Barrio Shoreditch this summer, bringing you a series of Masterclasses incorporating Madrid's tapas culture, sounds, history, art and of course... the perfect Mahou pour!

LAUNCH PARTY - WEEK 1: WED, JUNE 19TH

Giving you a glimpse of the Mahou experience as we prepare to kick off our upcoming programme of masterclasses! Learn everything about 'the perfect pour', how to prepare and carve jamón and enjoy complimentary fusion tapas whilst the DJ is providing the soundtrack to your evening. Welcome pint is on us for the first 100 ticket holders!

FIVE STAR MADRID - WEEK 2: WED, JUNE 26TH

Join us as Mahou's Maestro presents a handy guide and insider's journey of the capital of Spain. Discover Madrid's top 5 rooftop bars, places for authentic tapas and hidden streets and markets. You'll also be given some hacks and tips by a talented photographer on how to best capture your experience when you next visit the city. Last but not least, you'll get the chance to perform 'the perfect pour' with Mahou.

FUSION TAPAS - WEEK 3: WED, JULY 3RD

Join our Chef Maestro as they discuss the tapas culture of Madrid and guide you into a tapas making experience. You'll get to prepare your own treats during the class and get a recipe card away to practice at home! Last but not least, you'll get the chance to perform 'the perfect pour' with Mahou.

ACOUSTIC SOUNDS OF MADRID - WEEK 4: WED, JULY 10TH

Let Spanish Musician Maestros Ayose & Jesus take you on a melodic journey through the Madrid music scene, creating a show and atmosphere you can only find in a typical Spanish bar. Pick your favourite songs from their set-list that you want to get a bit of a background on and listen as they explain the Spanish drum rhythms. You'll even get to fully immerse yourself by playing on one of the six Cajons and clapping in time with the beat! Last but not least, you'll get the chance to perform 'the perfect pour' with Mahou.

MADRID DJ SOUNDSCAPE - WEEK 5: WED, JULY 17TH

Join our Spanish DJ, a European mixing & scratching champion, as he introduces you to the Spanish music scene and teaches you the best scratching techniques on the latest portable turntables. Last but not least, you'll get the chance to perform 'the perfect pour' with Mahou.

MADRID STREET ART - WEEK 6: WED, JULY 24TH

We're excited to welcome Baone Knldge, a master in illustration and graphic design, who's recently moved to the UK from Madrid. See Madrid through the eyes of a talented artist who will discuss some iconic pieces and explain the history behind the art. Learn how to use stencils and create your own masterpiece which you can take away on a canvas. Of course, you'll also get the chance to perform 'the perfect pour' with Mahou.
