We’re thrilled to be warming up for the Funk & Soul Weekender 2019 with a very special day & night event, starting on the NT's terrace and going on til 3 am!
We’ll be taking over through the evening, with live performances from critically acclaimed vocalist, Acantha Lang, along with DJ sets from some of London favourites: Stevie Wonderland, Tuckshop & Champagne Funk.
- Acantha Lang -
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Acantha Lang began honing her skills and performing regularly in New York at The Harlem Grill and iconic venue Cafe Wha amongst other venues. She has re-recorded one of her own original songs, with Robert Randolph which went on the be nominated for a 2018 Grammy. By now, Acantha had relocated to London where she further developed her Blues/Soul/Funk sound performing with her band at many of London’s most famous venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz Cafe, and The 606 Club. Luminaries such as Simon Cowell, Tom Cruise, Sting, Axl Rose, are just some of the few A-listers that have expressed their admiration for her voice and presence.
She'll be joined on the 21st by Stevie Wonderland, Tuckshop & Champagne Funk for a rare night of London's favourite party-starters in one room. All legendary across the London scene, they’re DJ sets branch across the genres of funk, soul, disco, afro, latin, house and more and are guaranteed dance-floor fillers every time.

5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
