Overall it was a good event. I think upon reflection the price point is a bit steep for what you get in terms of the pizzas (they’re the frozen dr oetkar ones which actually was safer for my friend with coeliac but sometimes would arrive hot other times would be a bit cold) and slightly watered down (presumably because of the amount of ice) jugs of cocktail. There was one staff member who was a bit rude (when I highlighted my friend was coeliac as I had done prior to booking, she rather bluntly said that none of them were ready yet… but she was bringing pizza for everyone else so I didn’t want my friend to be left out…) All the other staff were really nice, brought food and drink out regularly. It wasn’t as hoedown-y as I had hoped (presumably because of the Christmas mix in), so we didn’t spend long on the bingo. The drag queen was great. I think it’d be better if the price point was lower so you’d think it was better value for money, or keep the price point but better quality food & drink. Was enjoyable of course. The venue itself was clean. Plenty of space.
