Double Dutch & Café Pacifico and Patron Tequila Present Cocktail Soda Mixers – 14th, 21st and 28th October, 18:15 – 20:15 pm
Experts in innovative flavour combinations, join Double Dutch Drinks and Patrón for an evening of exploration at Café Pacifico, Covent Garden’s favourite Mexican bar and restaurant. Mix, stir and serve, and learn the art of making the perfect Margarita and Bloody Mary with Double Dutch’s new molecular cocktail sodas and the iconic agave spirit.
To begin, two cocktail experts from Double Dutch and Patrón will guide guests through a tasting of Patrón Blanco and Patrón Reposado, followed by a tasting of the new Bloody Mary Soda and Cucumber Margarita Soda with chilli from Double Dutch. Guests will uncover the unique flavour profiles of each and learn about the individual ingredients that go into the drinks – from rich tomato, basil, cucumber, pepper, chilli and a hint of brandy vinegar for the Bloody Mary Soda; to cucumber, Persian limes, bell peppers and chilli to create the Cucumber Margarita Soda.
Guests will then explore how both the tequilas and sodas work together, combining them and choosing from an array of garnishes – chillies, salt, cucumber, tomato – to create two delicious and spicy cocktails, unique to them. Alongside the tasting, guests will also enjoy a selection of three tacos, chips, it’s signature hot sauce and it’s legendary guacamole from Café Pacifico’s iconic menu and will leave with a goody bag including both cocktail sodas from Double Dutch and a mini bottle of Patron.
