Returning to real life after too long, the collective behind The Embers Collective sell-out Queerstory shows bring you QUEER’D.
Join us in Stoke Newington's mezcal monolith Doña as we mix up the normalised worlds of mythology and folklore and present you with a range of queer’d narratives, poems and songs. Narratives that are often hidden, rewritten or shamed, will be brought into the light in all their rainbow-coloured glory.
After the show, the celebrations will continue with DJs to dance to into the early hours.
Tickets: £15/£20 in advance and available here through Design My Night. Booking highly recommended so as not to be dissapointed.

'A truly brilliant evening. The storytellers and stories were diverse: some using folk tales or Greek myth as a starting point and others (so far as I could tell) wholly original. Every one was a delight: moving, funny and thought-provoking. High praise too for the musicians, whose backing worked like the best movie soundtrack, pointing up the drama, accentuating a joke or enhancing a mood, but never obtruding. The other delight was the friendly. responsive audience. I had never heard of Embers Collective before but now I'm a fan.'

3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
