The Cafe Cairo mantra is about hospitality, comfort and entertainment the majority of which you'll find as soon as you walk through the door to this quaint and quirky shisha bar in South London. It is a hub of warmth and colour for an open minded crowd with a quaint bar, dance-floor and plenty of nooks…

This is our third Alchemy event! Happy to be back, this time we are bringing even more variety with things we've never tried before!
Our house band The Jazz Slingers have morphed into The Blues Slingers, featuring regular band leader Tom Williams, showing his versatility by heading up a blues fuelled set.
Guest singers will be joining him throughout the night and you may even hear Robin Porter joining in from afar as his hands always seem to be tied with invisible strings to the piano!
Another fresh ingredient to the night is comedy (all comedy experienced at past events being incidental)
The Dalton Swine Clwb present a strange, distorted and comedic view of human action inside a slanted plane.
We are invited to join them in wading through complex, chaotic containers between desire and repulsion.
Laura Nicholson is an artist.
With a ream of paper and a pen you will be transported to a different world, one that may seem familiar but will surprise you.
Drawing from psychoanalysis, classical imagery, and biology you will be mesmerised all evening by their dancing hand.
Hamish Rush is a poet, actor, playwright and top gentleman.
We are proud to be hosts to his first public poetry reading as he walks us through myth and riddle, asking us to forsake context and drift in a river of sound.
Sleight, our resident DJ will be mixing genres like the musical chameleon he is bringing you a bit of everything you could possibly think of.
With a penchant for weird and wonderful recognisable soundbites, keep your ears open and your feet alive as this man's set will keep you on your toes.
Also, Peaches are making a comeback.
