There are any numbers of great bars in Clapham, but not to be overlooked is 64th & Social, a quirky cocktail favourite on the High Street. With a sexy New York City feel inside, join your friends propping up the bar, or snuggle up with someone special in the private high-backed booths with a speciality exotic cocktail. With decadent black motif wallpaper and dimmed lights hanging above your head, 64th & Social is a comfortable and sensual escape. Especially as the staff are fun and welcoming, without being overly attentive.
During the week, the music is a mish-mash of styles, you’ll from rock to laid back jazz. On a Fridays and Saturday night the DJ cranks up the energy with sets of soulful house music, Funk and the odd bit of cheese for good measure! It's worth getting in early for 64th's Happy Hour, where cocktails are £5 from 5pm-9pm Monday-Saturday, or to grab a bite to eat where the predominantly Grill cuisine includes sizzling Steaks and tender Wings.

Reply from 64th & SocialThanks for the review. Considering nothing was confirmed with anyone in the bar until on the day when you sent out an email saying you were coming and arriving at a time of 10pm we were still able to organise it for you all to get in, and then we gave you a discount off your drinks as happy hour was already finished. You also didn’t ask for a table or area so why would’ve we booked you one and only for just 30 mins. You said you had a general phone call with someone from the bar (neither the manager or owners knew anything about this conversation) it would’ve helped if you had confirmed all details and deals prior to having us added to your list of bars.
Reply from 64th & SocialAs previously stated on Google when you first made a complaint... We are sorry you feel this way.... we asked you to just turn around your baseball cap (house rules that apply to everyone as caps throw a shadow over your face when on CCTV). You agreed to turn your hat around, entered and proceeded to turn it back forward. We only asked you to turn it back around and you decided to leave. You'll find this is the same rule in most venues up and down the high street... most won't even let you wear it back to front.
Reply from 64th & SocialSo sorry you seem to feel like this... especially after the multiple emails and times we changed your booking for you... From Guest List, to a table and then back to guest list as you didn't want to leave your card details as is protocol with bookings made using the DesignMyNight booking app. But you did enjoy your night when you actually came into the bar, or did you just not come down? We did in fact actually save you a table without the card details just to make sure you got what you wanted.
Reply from 64th & SocialI am so sorry to hear this, Please do email me on email@example.com to let us know how the staff were rude as this is def not acceptable. As for the music we do try and play a complete mix to cater for all the crowd. Sorry you didn't have a great night.
Reply from 64th & SocialHi there, I need to contact this reviewer as we didn’t actually take £50 from his account… we asked for the Auth of a deposit to book the space and no money was taken as you may think. I need to contact this reviewer please to clear up the issue and in fact get the £50 that is owed. Many thanks Robin Webb
