The Jamies League Pool Tournament

Here at Jamies Ludgate Hill, we have spruced up our downstairs 'Club Room' and made it into a chamber of fun! Fitted out with a pool table and bar billiards, it's the perfect place to wind down after a long day at the office. 

We'd love for you to come and celebrate the relaunch of The Club Room with us! 'The Jamies League' is our brand new 'Elimination' pool tournament. The winner will receive an amazing mystery prize!

The directions and rules are as follows:

1. There will be three teams (please sign up in pairs). The first team will 'own' balls 1-5, the second 6-10 and the third 11-15. 

2. The name of the game is to pocket your opponent's balls before they pocket yours. The first team to do this wins the mystery prize!

3. The team who breaks will be decided on the night. If that team fails to make a legal break (i.e. failing to break the rack of balls correctly or shooting the cue ball off the table or into a pocket), the incoming player can re-rack the balls and break again.

4. A player's turn continues as long as he or she knocks in a ball with each shot.

5. If a player pockets their own ball, the ball stays in the pocket and this will be the end of their turn.

6. If the cue ball falls off the table or is pocketed, this is called a 'scratch' and the consequence of this happening will be that one ball per opponent can be returned to the table.
