What they say:
Ask For Janice is essentially two venues for the price of one. The ground floor might best be described as an airy, relaxed dining space with original artwork from Kid Acne and Damien Hirst on the walls and food available to order all day. Locate the non-descript door leading to the basement though and it’s a different story; with a cool crowd surveying a menu packed with plenty of draft beers, torrents of gin and a small selection of wines.
What we say:
The guys here have clearly put a lot of effort into creating a dynamic space well suited to all sorts of characters. Janice is there for you in the morning when you need to grab breakfast, dinner time when you’re in search of an indulgent feast and when you’re keen for a chilled post-work drink in a cool and quirky basement bar.
