Spring has sprung, the birds are singing and the daffodils are in full bloom. Bunnies are everywhere, a holy man has come out of a hole and there’s a lot of reduced chocolate in Sainsbury’s… It must be time to head down to Phoenix Arts Club for a legendary bit of Easter-themed cabaret with the stars of London’s comedy cabaret scene!
Giving comedy lipsync, the self-proclaimed ‘giraffe of drag’, Lipsync 100 finalist Cynthia Seaward will be performing, along with the incomparable magical clown Richard Melanin The Third who will make us feel the joys of spring. They’ll be joined by spicy Spanish drag king Prinx Silver, living out everyone’s hot priest fantasies (fire emoji), and to top it all off we’ll have a headline set from Jesus’ mother themself – cabaret legend Virgin X.
This eggcellent cabaret will be guided by the easter bunny’s favourite snack – “ginger fever dream” (TimeOut London) Carrot. They’ll be singing and playing live parody songs, and hiding their eggs for some lucky audience members to find, along with an easter-bonnet making competition… so bring your crafting A-game!
Gather up all your friends, book yourself some VIP tickets, and prepare to laugh your egg off in this all-star Easter cabaret.
