London Jazz Festival: Ivo Neame & Maciek Pysz

In this new collaboration, guitarist Pysz and pianist Neame explore the many avenues of expression offered by this unique combination of instruments. From the duos of Bill Evans and Jim Hall to more recent recordings by Fred Hersch and Bill Frisell, the most exciting aspect of the combination of piano and guitar is the range of interplay possible; Neame and Pysz relish this opportunity and approach this musical context with characteristic adroitness. These two virtuosos join forces to combine their passion for intricately rhythmic music in a repertoire of the music of Hermeto Pascoal and their own compositions.
