DJ'S ON THE 4TH OF FEBRUARY:

THE LEGENDARY PAUL TROUBLE ANDERSON

MICHE'

Bio: Playing records since the age of 14, Miché loves nothing more than raw disco cuts and deep, bumping house. A self proclaimed lager connoisseur, you can expect fresh edits fused with some of the finest music around guaranteed to make you move your feet. since releasing his debut track “all my friends are high” he has seen a large increase in interest in his work and is due to release his debut ep in early 2017.

Bio: I have been DJing for around 3 years now and I really enjoy it. I started my DJing career on vinyl and have now progressed onto digital. I am now comfortable playing both.

My favorite genres of music have got to be House and Hip-Hop. I really LOVE the sounds of Masters at Work, Jasper street co and DJ Rasoul. I grew up listening to their music and having listened to it for most of my life I took a liking to it.

I have already produced 4 of my own tracks and I am currently in the studio recording more of my own material. Watch this space...

SOME QOUTES COLLECTED ON PTA:

Paul Trouble Anderson represents the ‘Cream Elite’ of London’s Dj’s.

Coming from a Dancer’s perspective, he delivers dance music to you, across the spectrum, in a way that leads the way for all the rest to follow. Dancers across the world, including myself, will tell you that via the turntable, he is a force to be reckoned with. Your feet haven’t got a chance, so wear comfortable shoes. Love Alwayz

"A club without Paul Trouble Anderson is a club waiting to happen..."

Paul Trouble Anderson is a name that is cemented in the History of British Dance Music, PTA is ground breaking in every single way, His presence from the booth, His energy towards the dance floor and His passion for the Music. Paul has done more for Dance Music than most people realise and the Music Industry owes Paul a huge huge thank you.

I started listening to Paul's show on Kiss in 1996, I was 17 at the time. Paul's musical choices and his mixing style blew my mind and had me dancing on my way to sixth form and sneaking into HQ's for The Loft every Wednesday. He inspired me to buy my own decks at the age of 21 and make numerous wallet busting trips to Release The Groove so that I could buy tracks that he played.

I remember dingwalls Camden , with Paul trouble Anderson , I'm a DJ myself & was following Paul to see how he was doing it & checking out all the new imports & promo's as soon as they landed , he was a huge influence at that time & also because of kiss fm as well , I know Paul to talk to about the music scene & Dj ing & have seen him @ mi-soul gigs as well , see you @ the Mi-soul Christmas party DJ James Cronin

I went to his gigs religiously. From Dingwalls to Legends and his excellent radio show on KissFM; you knew one thing you were going to get was a great selection of music mixed in his unique way. He made you dance.

Having started as a dancer, he knows what's important for the dancer, he knows the music, clearly loves the music and enjoys sharing. At his parties, you know you will be with your family even if they're all strangers. This all taught me the most important thing about dance music and club culture, whatever genre, it needs an emotional connection, soul. When I discovered The Loft and PTA I found what I'd unknowingly been searching other clubs for for years, it changed my life. I still love the music and play music with this knowledge.

Paul Wright

I was listening to soul & dance music before the pirate stations Solar, Kiss, LWR & a few others started broadcasting. When House music first started, I recall listening to Tee Harris and Steve Jackson at first, then a friend told me that I should be listening to Paul Trouble Anderson. I was quickly hooked and would long for my weekly "fix" as PTA had the latest tunes before anyone else and his mixing was incredible. Even after all these years of house, I still don't think many DJs get it. Paul's exquisite skills add so much to the show. You find yourself longing for the next mix. DJ software allows many DJs today to produce clinically clean mixes, but very few stay in the mix long enough, nor do they try to emulate PTA's brilliance.

Early (?) 90's, Thursday night at Old Burlington St (Legends). Weekly ritual for a while :) Floor was always full, lovely atmosphere too. Top times x

Paul has been the soundtrack to my life across the airwaves and on the dance floor. His dedication and passion for music supported me through life ups and downs but he always makes me want to dance.

The Legendary Paul Trouble Anderson is one of my Heroes. The original UK Mixmaster.

Paul has helped my career for the last 25 years and still continues to do so. I cannot think of a better person to see the musical new year in with. He is a Master of His trade and I am honoured to be playing along side Him

Phil Asher

Paul Trouble Anderson is a UK Soulful House and Boogie music Dj of legendary status. With a background as a club and street dancer, of the highest level. Paul has spent 40 plus years putting that same feeling into the music he plays, delivering it with infectious energy. His Dj sets continue to innovate and break new ground with a blend of old and new, delivered in a manner few would imagine but never playing it “safe”.

Paul Trouble Anderson is the living legend who pioneered the sound of House in London, don’t ever get twisted, half of us would not be doing what we do if it wasn’t for Him.

I call PTA “Trouble Man” like Marvin Gaye. He has over 4 decades been an honorary dancing ‘knight of the sound table’ who has always been upfront with His Advance Dance and as well as going back to His roots like Lamont Dozier. A Pioneer with His skills who has inspired so many of the Major players in the music game to date…It was ‘Troubletime’ long before ‘Chico time’ .
