London's finest celebration of brazilian music TUDO JOIA! is back with a carnival special at Ninety One Living Room. DJs Patrick Forge, Miche and Gary Johnson and Gareth Stephens from Mr Bongo Records set the decks alight on February 17th! A five and a half hour journey joining the dots from samba to batucada, mpb to fórro and much more carnival vibes, what's not to like?

MR BONGO

It began in Venezuela 30 years ago – filling suitcases with amazing latin records to bring back to Europe. And it continued ever since; private warehouse visits in the US, dusty back street basements in South America, houses and garages in Africa, and lesser-known spots in Europe and Asia. Gary Johnson and Gareth Stephens of Mr Bongo bring eclectic and unexpected Brazilian, Latin, African, Jazz, Soul, Reggae and Psychedelic flavours to the dance-floor with a seemingly bottomless stock of weird and wonderful selections.

MICHE

A DJ with a love for deep dancefloor jams, miche has fast become one of London’s most exciting young selectors. At just 29 years old, he has already released his own compilation, "With Love" on Brighton-based Mr Bongo Records, been lead programmer for London audiophile venue, Spiritland and co-founded reissue 7”s label Discs of Fun & Love. Holding down a show on Worldwide FM in 2022, he DJs regularly across the UK and Europe, specialising in long and expansive sets that showcase his passion for modern soul, private press disco, Brazilian MPB rarities, jazz dance and deep house.

PATRICK FORGE

Patrick Forge needs no introduction - with his rich history of A Sunday Afternoon at Dingwalls, Inspiration Information and A Brazilian Love Affair nights all becoming written into London's rich musical history. Forge's sound influences take in latin, jazz and funk and more. He will play alongside Mr Bongo's Gary and Gareth and "With Love" Compiler miche, with their deeper than deep knowledge and all masters of their craft in finding, collecting and sharing records from Brazil.
