Jazz Lates is a series of intimate Jazz events that take place in our wonderful living room. On Saturday 29th January it is with great pleasure that we welcome Space Ghetto to the living room stage.

ABOUT THE band
Space Ghetto formed in 2017 when long-time friends and collaborators Mehdi Langroodi, Josh Barber and Tom Maine needed an outlet for their shared love of funk music and legends such as The JBs, Parliament Funkadelic and J Dilla.
Alongside Mehdi on drums, Josh on bass and Tom on guitar, Space Ghetto is comprised of some of London's most talked-about horn players, trombonist Kieran McLeod, saxophonist Caspar Sutton-Jones and trumpet virtuoso Yelfris Valdes.
The self-produced Yeet EP, released in January 2018, blends funk, jazz, hip hop and psychedelic rock with hard backbeats and mighty horn melodies.
From the relentless, head-nodding title track to the trombone-led 'Better Off Dead', a cover and tribute to the great Bill Withers, whose music the band have continued to explore with a show and live recording from London's Jazz Cafe, featuring some of the city's most exciting singers. The debut record also features Cuban percussionist Javier Camilo, LSO violinist Julian Rodriguez and David Landers on keyboards.
2018 sees the band hitting clubs and venues across the UK and Europe, with a second EP imminent and an album in the works.

Yonas Duches a.k.a SANOY is an Italo-Ethiopian London based DJ and musician with a particular influence for funk, disco, classic house and african music. His passion and musical exploration has developed him into a unique performer who’s bound to dominate the dance floor and catch attention with authentic and exciting music from around the world.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
