We welcome the brilliant Oska T to the Ninety One Living Room Stage on the 7th September!
Hailing from South London, the music of Oska T draws on a wide range of influences.
Their repertoire consists of a mixture of originals and covers which vary in genre from fusion, to more traditionally based jazz. They credit Thelonious Monk for the vast impact he has had on their music, with the foundation of their sound deriving from his undeniable rhythmic propulsion.
Each band member - Jesse Doniach (keys), Jordan Hadfield (drums) and Joe Maclaren (bass) - brings their own personality, style and eclectic mix of influences, ranging from James Jamerson to Tony Williams, to create a fresh and exciting sound.
