about the artist
Originally hailing from Naples, Italy, London-based singer-songwriter and producer Leo Pesci blurs the line between vocal jazz and modern soul and hip-hop.
Classically trained on the piano, he moved to London in 2018 to pursue his music career, playing extensively in the capital’s most iconic jazz clubs where he met the superb band playing on his debut EP ‘Leo Pesci’ released in 2020. A real lover of melodies, Leo uses his powerful voice as a vehicle to address weighty subjects such as immigration or masculinity in our modern world. The free-wheeling, experimental nature of jazz is well suited to his sophisticated musical sensibilities.
‘Leo Pesci’ caught the attention of Jazz FM, WorldWide FM, Soho Radio, Fip and Radio Nova to name a few, and was placed on ‘Butter’, one of the biggest modern soul editorial playlists on Spotify, boasting just under 100k streams in June 2021.
On his new album ‘Community’ due to release in September 2021, Leo presents his new musical project together with his superb band formed by Jas Kayser (Jorja Smith / Poppy Ajudah - drums), Nicola Guida (keys), Dani Diodato (Arlo Parks - guitar), Vincenzo De Fraia (bass) and Johnny Woodham (Rex Orange County / Alfa Mist - trumpet).
Leo Pesci’s music is heavily influenced by the works of Roy Hargrove, D’Angelo, Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote, Jamiroquai, Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes, Anderson Paak or Pino Daniele to name but a few.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
