We are delighted to welcome DeCarteret to Ninety One for her living room debut! Join us for a special night as DeCarteret launches her new EP, with performances from Qbanaa, Tertia and Nia!

DeCarteret
Elected earlier in the summer as one of District Magazine’s Future Of Irish Music 2023 artists alongside the likes of Curtisy, Moio and Qbanaa, DeCarteret is a short lady from County Clare Ireland, who likes to make lo-fi beats and classical music. Sometimes she makes other things such as neo-soul, jazz and R&B and sometimes she draws too. Sometimes she dances but she’s not great at it, she misses the countryside and her favourite colours are brown, blue, green, purple she can never decide.
Having released a string of tracks over the past couple of years, DeCarteret is now ready to reveal her debut EP – a record themed around the good and bad side of childhood reminiscences. Including recent singles ‘Trip Me’, ‘Icarus’ and ‘Jerry’, Crying & Cumming On The Bathroom Floor sees her collaborate with the musical community of which she has become such a vital part. The likes of Ahmed With Love, Tadhg, Sweet Jayne and Khakikid all feature – as do long time musical soul mates Bricknasty on the stark, startling ‘Belly Of The Beast’. Her music to date has featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday UK, Our Generation, Jazz UK, A Breath of Fresh Eire, Alternative Ireland and The New Eire, with media support from BBC Radio 1, RTE2FM, Nialler9, Hot Press and GoldenPlec.

Qbanaa
Based in Dublin, Qbanaa is influenced by a blend of Soul, Jazz, Latin and contemporary genres. Her 2022 debut single 'Truth and Desire' hit four key Spotify playlists, was listed in the ‘Top 40 Irish Songs of the Year’ by DJ Peter Curtin and was nominated for 'Track of the Year' by Hot Press, alongside an appearance in the category of Most Promising Artist. Recently announced by District Magazine for their Future of Irish Music in 2023, Q has a reputation for an incredible live performance, selling out her debut headliner, playing All Together Now, Body & Soul, Ireland Music Week, Continuous Patterns, Music Town, St. Patricks Festival and supporting the likes of Ruby Waters and Liv.E.

Tertia
Tertia tur-sha is a singer/songwriter and producer from West London. Her music takes inspiration from artists like John Maus, Boards of Canada and Arlo Parks. Her alt-pop sounds can be identified by their honest lyricism, complex harmonies and synthy goodness. Tertia is gearing up for a big year of live shows and long awaited single releases in 2023.

NIA
NIA is a Birmingham born - London based artist combining Jazz, Neo-Soul and elements of electro fused together with mellow, soothing vocals and journalistic narratives for an intimate and soul-stirring live experience.
