We're proud to welcome incredible artist Arjuna Oakes to our living room stage on Saturday, 13th January. Join us for a spell-binding show with the singer-songwriter, pianist & producer as he makes his Ninety One debut.
ABOUT ARJUNA OAKES
Arjuna Oakes is an accomplished singer/songwriter, pianist, composer and producer, based in London, originally from New Zealand. Following the release of his debut EP The Watcher - EP in 2019, Arjuna has released another five projects all to widespread acclaim. Two EPs, First Nights and Final Days, are a collaboration with longtime friend and co-producer Serebii, released by LA-based record label Innovative Leisure BADBADNOTGOOD, Allah-Las. First Nights debuted at #5 on KCRW's top 30 Albums chart and has had extensive play on BBC6 and BBC1xtra.
“Watch out for a great singer from New Zealand called Arjuna Oakes” - Gilles Peterson BBC Radio 6 Music Arjuna's latest EP Future Lullaby was created with mentor and renowned Greek/Kiwi composer John Psathas. Aside from releasing recorded projects, Arjuna has also scored a Theatre show, been a composer in residence for Orchestra Wellington, and has performed extensively on the festival circuit.
Arjuna has opened for some incredible artists including Jordan Rakei, Moonchild and Allen Stone. His debut album is due to be released in 2024.
