The folks behind the Sager & Wilde wine bar in Hackney are also responsible for Mission, a Californian wine bar and kitchen found nestled in the railway arches of Bethnal Green. Pop over if you're searching for a diverse menu brimming with character; you can pick up anything from crispy pigs head to smoked anchovies and grilled mackerel to octopus, but it's really the liquid menu that grabs the headlines here.

The choice of Californian wine really is extensive - it swells to take up three pages of the menu - and it comes in the company of a choice of other non-California wines as well as a small choice of beers and cocktails.
