That’s right kittens, hark back to your teenage dirtbag dreams… for one night only we are hopping in our trash-pot time machine and going back to a time when Camden was cool (we know right). On the 12th November, PUSSY LIQUOR will be transforming BGWMC into your childhood EMO FANTASY - for fun as intense as Pete Wentz’ eyeliner and as excessive as a tie-print on a t-shirt (lookin’ at you Avril).
WELCOME TO THE PUSSY PARADE… introducing the world’s first (this is not fact-checked and could quite honestly be a lie) EMO themed glitter-tastic, trash-bag cabaret-cum-dance party and Fall Out BOY are you down for it.
First up, a show… On the iconic BGWMC we will be writing sins not tragedies with the finest cabaret artists London has to offer… think SUBVERSIVE SHOWGIRLS, KWEENS OF THE SCENE, KINGS OF OUR CAR CRASH HEARTS and EVERY GENDER IN BETWEEN... Once this assortment of skinny jean clad creatives have found their way back to the dressing rooms (it’s hard to see with your fringe covering your eye), the dance floor is open until late with THE BEST in party-starting tunes from the era… remember cuties, dancing’s not a crime, and whatever happens on the night will be our dirty little secret.
So KITTENS, dust off those converse (you know the ones with the coloured laces), there is no such thing as too many belts…. grab your Myspace top 8 (whatever happened to Tom?) and head on over - the party’s poppin’ at Pussy Liquor and sugar, we’re going down… down…
