There's more than just beer on the Bermondsey mile –
Hawkes Cidery, Jensen's Distillery and Gosnells Meadery have teamed up to show you another side of the city's famous Bermondsey mile.
Visiting each site, and spending an hour with the producers, you will learn all about what goes into making these products, the history behind the brands as well as a guided tasting of several products from each producer.
Hawkes – ‘At London’s first Urban Cidery, the tasting team will take you through 4 separate ciders on a flight. Starting with the OG, you’ll taste some of Hawkes most recent ciders and a tasting of their latest barrel-aged release, fresh from the arches of Bermondsey.
This tasting will be guided and questions are encouraged!’
Jensen’s - 'Jensen's Gin, produced by Bermondsey Distillery. Here you will be hosted by one of the Distillery Managers, who will explain Gin's amazing history and its birthplace in Bermondsey, guide you through a comparative tasting of the two flagship Gins the company produce, and detail exactly how their gin is made. The tasting lasts approximately one hour, with welcome drinks on arrival.'
Gosnells - 'Honey, we are here. The newest arrival on the Mile producing one of the oldest yet almost forgotten styles of beverage. With a passion for saving the bees and the planet, we also want the world to taste great.
Here at Gosnells, we are excited to take you on a journey into the Hive, welcoming you as part of 'The Other Bermondsey Mile' to try 3 of our favourite meads, while hearing about how we do things differently and producing Modern Mead by taking inspiration from the environment around us.
An excellent experience for any booze aficionado, and a new way to see the Bermondsey Mile!

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
