What they say:

The old Walkabout on Upper Street in Angel has been given a renaissance by Irish designer Paul Daly- the man behind the chic rock bar Miss Q's in Earls Court, the glamorous classy Vendome in Mayfair, quirky bar Zigfrid Von Underbelly, and the unique retro Roadtrip in Shoreditch. The Vendome was praised as Best Designed Venue in 2009 at the London Club & Bar Awards. Where did all that talent in interior design come from? Maybe from growing up as an Irish boy in Africa and then working in New York. Additionally he has experience  in ship-building, singing in a band, metal-work and fashion. He graduated from Goldsmiths College which is known for its education in the arts and Daly is no exception from the other Goldsmiths alumni such as Damien Hirst and Steve McQueen. The clubs Daly has designed are all incredibly unique with amazing amounts of character and details and the Rattlesnake is no exception. They serve food, host live gigs and welcome you on a rooftop terrace. Rattlesnake is now one of the biggest bars in London.

What we say:

Upper Street in Angel, Islington has plenty of bars and restaurants, but this is an exciting new bar project from the Daly team. Rattlesnake of Angel is a great live music venue in London as well as a diner, club and cocktail bar; they are also sporting a huge jukebox which means endless fun for customers listening to old and classic hits while they enjoy their food and drinks. The lean towards Mexico is inspired by the 1969 film 'Easy Rider', this means only one thing, some great burritos, tacos and fajitas, and a bucket load of tequila shots. Do not wait anymore to see what Daly has done with Rattlesnake!
