Description

Rattlesnake of Angel is now closed.

The notorious bar designer Paul Daly touches down in Islington with this live music joint, kitchen, bar and all round fun-time hang out. Joining North London's plethora of cool and outstanding bars, clubs and pubs, Rattlesnake of Angel has given Upper Street a great live music venue with a huge jukebox to rock out to.

There are live gigs on throughout the week which command a modest fee so be prepared for some rock, garage and indie to be rocking the sound system.

The bar comes fully armed with a diner, club and cocktail bar. Rattlesnake of Angel is influenced by the 1969 American film ‘Easy Rider’ and its speciality food and drinks lean towards Mexico which can only mean a wicked selection of tequila shots and burritos. Arriba Rattlesnake of London!

Reminds me of neighbourhood bars I've been to in small-town America - cheapish beers, and good times to be had, super location too.

The moment you pop in Rattlesnake, you feel swamped in the punk rock american dream! The live bands always put on worthwhile gigs and the beers are absolutely sweet! Hey, Thumbs up for you snake snake! You got some great indie acts up that stage. I have especially enjoyed Thunder Gods

Stumbled across this place as I live close by, its a classic rock joint but also cool to just hang out and have a beer, we had the jukebox playing and tucked into some tequila cocktails, Rattlesnake is fun! GO GO GO
