Torabhaig scotch whisky x high west double rye whiskey
For the start of our Tasting Tuesday's series with Saša, we're bringing you a mix of Scotch vs American Rye. Transport yourself to The Isle of Skye, Scotland whilst you sip Sound of Sleat (their signature house style, characterised by a subtle smokiness and a hint of coastal saltiness) and Cnoc Na Moine (a rich, fruity and spicy character, matured in bourbon, oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, which is followed by waves of savoury barbecue smoke).
High West Whiskey Double Rye is a lively, spicy double rye whiskey from High West distillery in Utah, that is made with a blend of two high-rye whiskeys, one with a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, the other 80% rye and 20% malted rye, both matured for at least three years.
The tasting kicks off at 18:30, where you'll receive a complimentary welcome cocktail featuring one of the whiskies and will end around 19:30 after you've discovered the story and flavour profiles behind each whisky.
