Got beef?

A swanky restaurant dedicated to the world’s most expensive cut of steak has landed in Victoria Gate. Sourcing all their Japanese-style beef from Warrendale Farm in Pocklington, the team guarantees that their dishes are Yorkshire to the core. The speed in which they are able to get their precious cargo from ‘gate to plate’ also ensures the ultimate freshness and flavour for the distinctively marbled meat.

The venue, which is set over two floors, holds both a daytime cafe and evening dining space. This two-pronged approach means that while the ground floor is the perfect pitstop for hungry shoppers and local workers, upstairs also makes the ideal date night spot.

The cafe’s daytime menu consists of burgers, sandwiches and salads, whereas the evening a la carte menu will offer a wider selection of their signature wagyu steaks, from chateaubriand to T-bone, alongside a range of melt in the mouth sauces and sides.

Forgoing this place will be a big missed steak.
