ABOUT THE FIRST ARTIST
Steve Young is a globe trotting session guitarist, teacher & entertainer turned Singer/Songwriter. Early TV appearances with Lionel Richie & Peter Andre soon led to full time touring duties with world famous artists - most notably ex Savage Garden front man Darren Hayes which took Steve on trips around the world performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Brisbane QPAC, LA Roxy and many more concluding as co-writer on Darren's last album in 2012
Since writing and releasing the ‘Little Things EP' in 2014, and crowd funded debut Album ‘Troubadour' in 2016, Steve has performed at The London O2 - Country 2 Country Festival. Time Out London's 'Rising Stars of UK Country' Multiple shows at the Edinburgh Free Fringe, recorded live for Bob Harris' - Under The Apple Tree Sessions, opened for Carlene Carter (daughter of Johnny Cash's wife June Carter) as well as opening sets for Broadway Star - Ramin Karimloo, UK Blues Artist - Jo Harman, Brit Award winner Tom Odell (Help Refugees), folk singers Charlie Dore, Reg Meuross and many solo gigs & tours around the UK
His songs have enjoyed radio play around the world including BBC Radio 2, BBC Regional Stations, Radio Caroline, Chris Country Radio and 100's of community / online stations as well as a live performance on BBC Radio 2 to an audience of approx 7M listeners in Nov 2017.
ABOUT THE SECOND ARTIST
Although she grew up playing musical instruments, Vic Allen first picked up the guitar as a teenager, and after a trip to America, where she was inspired by the rich country music scene, she began songwriting. Vic performs at a huge variety of venues and festivals across the UK, co-headlining the female fronted "Write Like a Girl" tour with Beth Keeping and Emily Faye in 2018. She also began taking regular trips to Nashville to collaborate with other songwriters and further develop her songwriting, showcasing her original material in writer's rounds at venues such as The Listening Room.
In October 2016, Vic independently released a self-written EP titled “The Missing Piece” which received airplay from various radio stations across the country, and praise from BBC Introducing. Following the success of her debut, Vic launched a successful crowdfunding campaign over the summer of 2017 which allowed her to record her second EP, a four track release titled "Between The Lines".
In 2018, Vic signed with GingerDog Records to record her debut album. The first single "Blinded" was released on August 10th, 2018, and debuted at no.9 on the iTunes UK country single charts.

ABOUT OUR FOOD:
Sourcing the greatest grass-fed Aberdeenshire beef is crucial to Boisdale but equally so is the attention to detail involved in the dry ageing and the actual cutting. All the beef supplied to Boisdale is from the very best certified beef suckler herds of Aberdeenshire Boisdale is wild about game and all manner of chase and fowl find their way to the tables, be it red grouse – the ultimate game bird uniquely indigenous to Scotland and northern England or Highland venison, the regulars’ favourite served hot smoked with a black truffle dressing. Wild fowl, hare, partridge – all can be enjoyed in the Boisdale restaurants when in season.
Gourmets can also delight in arguably the best beef in the world: 28-40 day matured purebred dry aged Aberdeenshire steak as well as other remarkable meat that includes Highland Blackface Lamb.
The most famous Scottish export after whisky - smoked salmon - comes to Boisdale from award-winning, small family-owned farms and smokehouses. Other fish specialities include the diver-gathered Orkney King scallops, Loch Ryan native oysters, organic West Minch salmon from South Uist, sweet dill-pickled herring from the Summer Isles, as well as abundant varieties of other seafood.
