Whether you're ducking down for dinner, or nattering over cocktails, this is a must-try place for those looking to impress. While on the more expensive side, we all know the lovely lady is worth it. 

Wining and dining, it's the least a lady like your Mum deserves on a day like today. A laid-back and urban inspired restaurant, Butchershop may be one of the best places to eat in Glasgow, but pretension is most definitely left at the door. Not only can you tuck into meaty treats, the menu is a Mother's Day mouthwatering feast of fresh food and cocktails alike. 

Chandeliers, candlelit tables and pretty patterns, The Butterfly and the Pig is a Mother's Day must thanks to its roaring historic interiors and dashing service.
